Problem
In the era of the AI revolution, traditional ways of teaching and assessing students are under pressure. Students can generate assignments with AI tools in minutes, making it extremely difficult to verify their real skills. When top universities admit hundreds of students per year for a single program, it is impossible to spend enough time with each student to thoroughly assess what they truly know.
Moreover, in many practice-oriented fields it is not just knowledge that matters, but the ability to apply it in real scenarios.
Wyzwanie
The main challenge was designing detailed, precise instructions for the voice bot so that its questions and feedback would closely match the reality of learning under a professor’s guidance.
Rozwiązanie
We developed a solution that enables automated verification of a student’s knowledge. It is a voice bot that, after uploading the student’s work and the course syllabus, asks follow-up questions to assess understanding and independent work. After the conversation, the tool produces specific feedback, highlighting strengths and weaknesses and pointing to areas for improvement. The solution also helps students practice clarity of communication, speaking fluency, and confidence.
Result
The system was initially tested by several dozen users and received very positive ratings. We are currently integrating it with the IT systems of a university in the United Kingdom.
